Based on the ATmega2560, the Arduino MEGA ADK from Robomart is a microcontroller board that can be powered through a USB connection or with an external power supply. The power source is selected automatically, and includes external power that can come from an AC-to-DC adaptor or battery. Connect with Android Phones The control board has a USB host interface to connect with android based phones, which is based on the MAX3421e. Components of a Microcontroller Board The board includes 54 digital input/output pins, 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs, a 16MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header and a reset button. USB to Serial Converter This microcontroller board comes with an ATmega8U2 programmed as a USB-to-serial converter which helps in installing drivers for your computer. This makes it possible for your computer to find the adaptor and help in converting the data sent and received from your serial device.
