Mimansha Rath from Sambalpur, Odisha is one such artist herself who has successfully embarked upon the journey of becoming India’s Next Singing Sensation. She made her Social Media Debut with the famous song “Hasi Ban Gye” and has made popular covers of other famous Bollywood Songs. She is a district Level 1st Runner up in the soulful category of Patriotic songs and is just 20 years old. She aspires to become a renowned singer and religiously practices her singing notes and pitch . Too much of a Talent at such an young age but is this is not what we all are looking for? Apart from singing she loves to write quotes and listen to her favorite singers who arev the famous Bollywood singers like Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Goshal.

Ques: When did you discover a singer in you?
Since childhood I have been performing at various family occasions and my family members have always loved my singing performances. Sooner my friends also discovered my talent and started encouraging me to sing at College fests and other cultural events which I would love. I have always been passionate about singing and I am really glad that my closed ones and now so many people are liking my voice.
Ques: What are your dreams regarding your future? Whom did you see with you as pillars of support when things went wrong or you felt discouraged?
Dreams! Yes I dream to become a playback singer. I am working very hard for it. I will let no stone unturned to fulfill all my professional and personal dreams. My elder sisters, my parents and my friends have always been a big support no matter whatever the circumstances. Everything is possible if you have support of the right kind of people who always inspire but also keep you on your toes.
Ques: Whom does Mimansha Rath see as her idol? What are you views on other singers?
Well I admire Lata Mangeshkar Ji the most and she has always been my biggest idol since childhood . I also love artists like Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Goshal. Next is that I admire every singer because they all are unique and from every single singer we can learn something. I believe that Everyone is an artist in himself.
I keep on reminding myself about how far I have to go and the values my parents have given to me always encourages me to take inspiration from great artists.

Ques: Are you willing to become a Professional Singer? What are your plans?
Yes, every young singer like me has a dream to rise up and make it big like our idols. I am working hard to make my dream of becoming a professional singer true and I want it become a reality in the near future. I believe in hard work and practice and will definitely love to sing in Bollywood movies .

Ques : What kind of genre of songs you like and which one is your favourite song?
Mostly I like soulful and soft genre songs. I like Hansi Ban Gaye because my 1st cover on Youtube was this song. But apart from that I like the voice of Lata Ji, Shreya ma’am and Sunidhi ma’am too. All the songs they have sung are such great pieces of work and if i can do even 1% of that, I will regard myself as very lucky.
Ques: Some words for our readers and aspiring Singers.
Well I would like to say that if you have some talent then try to show your talent worldwide. Don’t be shy and be fearless. Don’t think that how people are going to react rather take their negative comments as a positive way and let them know how you can win the world with your humbleness. Always remember that nobody is born great everybody has to do their duty. Likewise do your work and achieve your dreams, give your best and be the best.
