Aditi Mahavidyalaya, Delhi University

 

Loacted in Delhi Auchandi Road, Bawana, New Delhi, this college was established in 1994. It offers various BA courses and B.Com and B.Com(hons) course as well.

Bhagini Nivedita College, Delhi University

Established in 1993, the college was named after Bhagini Nivedita, a Scots-Irish social worker. This college offers BA, B.Com  (prog) and B.SC Physical Sciences.

Bharati College, Delhi University

Catering to almost 2000 women students and founded in 1971, the college offers masters courses in Hindi Literature with various bachelors courses in Humanities and Commerce.

Daulat Ram College, Delhi University

Originally called Pramila College, the college was established in 1960. The name was then changed to Daulat Ram after its founder’s name, Daulat Ram Gupta.  It is one of the top 30 colleges of University of Delhi.

Gargi College, Delhi University

The college offers education in Arts and Humanities, Commerce, Science and Education for Women. It has been ranked 22nd among the Top Art Colleges of India and 7th in the department of Science.

Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University

IP College is the oldest women’s college under the University Of Delhi. It was established in 1924. The college offers graduate and post graduate courses in Liberal Arts, Commerce, Literature, Computer Science, Mass Media and Mass Communication.

Institute of Home Economics, Delhi University

The college was founded by Dr.(Mrs) S.Malhan, to give women a wider Professional avenues. The institute became a constituent college of DU in 1969.

Janki Devi Memorial College, Delhi University

The college was established in the year 1959 by Shri Brijkishan Chandiwala in memory of his mother, Smt. Janki Devi. The college offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and short term courses.

Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University

The college awards bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Arts ans Mathematics. It is one of the colleges whose student body is not affiliated with DUSU.

Kalindi College, Delhi University

The college has come a long way since its inception in the year 1967. It offers bachelor degree in commerce and science.

Kamla Nehru College, Delhi University

The college ranked 26th in 2013 among the top arts colleges in India. The college is named after the wife of great freedom fighter, Jawaharlal Nehru.

Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi University

The college is named after the wife of the then Viceroy Of India, Baron Charles Hardinge. The college was established in 1916. In 2016, it was ranked 6th among the best medical colleges of India by India Today.

Lady Irwin College, Delhi University

Established in 1932, the college offers courses in Food Technology and grauduate and post graduate courses in Home Sciences.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University

It is a constituent college of DU for Social Sciences, Humanities and Commerce. It is a prestigious arts and commerce college and has been ranked 1st in Arts and Education, 2nd in Commerce and 3rd in Mass Communication.

Lakshmibai College, Delhi University

Named after the fearless warrior and patriot, the college was founded in 1965. It has various departments ranging from Sanskrit to Mathematics.

Maitreyi College, Delhi University

Located in the South Campus of DU, the college was named after the vedic sage Maitreyi. The college offers courses in the fields of science and arts.

Miranda House, Delhi University

The college was found in 1948 by Sir Maurice Gweyer. It was rated the best college in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2016. It offers three year bachelor’s degree in Science and other honours courses.

Shaheed Rajguru College, Delhi University

The college offers B.Sc in Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Food Technology, Instrumentation, Mathematics.

Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College for Women, Delhi University

The college offers courses at bachelors level. Ranging from Humanities, Science, Commerce and also Masters courses in Hindi, Sanskrit and Political Science.

Vivekanand College, Delhi University

The college has a dynamic and empowering ambiance for women seeking undergraduate degree in Arts, Commerce, Humanities and  Social Science.
