Lets get to know more about Vikas Rathi :
1. What or who inspired you to join this field of modeling?
No specific person has really inspired me to try modeling. All the successful have inspired me a lot. All of them have worked really hard to get where they are right now and their success stories have always motivated me. Apart from this my desire, to show the world that I am worthy enough to be a successful model also strengthens my confidence and charisma.
2. We’re all aware that every profession has its own ups and downs, so what are the pros and cons of modeling?
This a profession that has been tied to glitz and glamor, money and fame. Who would not want to see his finished photo on the cover page of a magazine. The positive part is that this profession pays you really well. The only con is that as a model you are considered as a product not a person.

They are very proud of me and I love them a lot. They always have my back. Nothing can be more satisfying than knowing the fact that you are the reason for someone’s inspiration and I will always give my 100% to live up to their expectations.
4. There are a lot of struggles in this field, what are the struggles that you have faced?
In any field that you are working in, success always comes with a hefty price tag and that is struggle, dedication and patience. Of course, I have also struggled a lot and that’s why I am here, where I am today. Sometimes I work on multiple projects and they all have different demands of my physique. Transforming myself in a very short time for these demands becomes a challenge at times.
5. We know there is a high level of competition in this modeling industry. So how do you prepare yourself for this competitive world?
Physically, mentally and emotionally I have dedicated myself to this industry and honestly, I am not in competition with anyone but myself. My goal is to learn and I chase my dreams not competitions.
6. Tell us about your achievements in this field.
My biggest achievement is yet to come and I always look to achieve more today, than I did yesterday. Some notable accomplishments though includes winning the title of Mr. North India and Mr. Delhi 2016 in Fitness Modelling , Modelling for Bombay Fashion Week and BV Roadies etc.
7. Something which is necessary for a model is maintaining his/her physique. So tell us about your diet and what do you do to keep yourself so fit ?
People say that it takes 21 days to make something as your habit and I have been keeping myself fit and healthy since ages. I try to hit the gym at least 5 days a week. I mostly live on boiled food and salads. I keep a variation between my carb cycle and kito diet. You can either look delicious or eat delicious, you can’t have them both.
8. What are your future goals regarding this field?
I have plans to represent India on an international platform in the near future in fitness. Simultaneously, I am training myself to be a better actor. This industry has a lot to give and I would like to be prepared if anything come along the way.
9. Is there any special memory you would like to share with us?
I do not have any special memory so far. Not that I remember of. But I would just like to say a quote I never forget, ‘Things change. People change. Feelings change. It’s a good thing but memories never change.’
10. Any message you would like to give to other aspiring models?
Embrace the past, to remember where you came from. Focus on the future, to know where you are going.
