In Talks with Karthik:
Ques: Karthik, what made you start STASS Foundation?
STASS started in 2007 with the aim to help needy with the blood. My father and a friend of mine died due to unavailability of blood on time. At that age, I was very young to donate blood. So, I aimed to open a blood bank whenever possible to help people with this problem.
Ques: How did your different projects reach out to people across the nation? Have you set up some teams for that ?
I had a Facebook page where I upload each and every mandatory details regarding the events or projects to be held. Interested once contact as volunteers to help out people. Through social media and YouTube success videos, only people come to know about this foundation.
Ques: How many people are associated with STASS Foundation?
At present, near about 2500 volunteers from Telgana and Andhra Pradesh are working with us on different projects.
Ques: So, are these projects available across India or any to Hyderabad and nearby areas?
At present our activities are in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Khammam, Krishna, Karim nagar, Vishaka patnam, Guntur, Nalgonda, West Godavari, Nizamabad, Kadapa, Chitoor,

Ques: How long have you been working for this ?
Initially in 2007, it stared with the blood Donation. Till 2012, we only focused on blood donation camps only. But later on people started coming up with great ideas to help out people in different ways. They wanted to help out people while spreading awareness about mother Earth, use of organic farming, sustainable development, proper waste management. So, with the help of all, working and non working staff, it was a success of 9 years of efforts.
