1.You are one of the most loved vine/video maker in the country. How does it feel?
Obviously, it feels very Good when people love your work and that too in such a large number. This is always a great feeling when you are being recognized by someone and treated specially. I believe that in my country there are a few video makers whose work is being loved by the public and they want to see more of their creativity. This makes me more Motivated towards my work and I try to create different concepts and innovative ideas. Perhaps truthfully, I will say that I still don’t feel that I am that much popular, that everyone starts recognizing me at whatever place I go and I take this as a positive thing as this is just a start, there’s a long way to go.
2. What do you think is essential to be a popular vine/ video maker, as in, your tricks or constant dedication? Why?
Yes, it is very important to be dedicated towards your work because dedication is the key to success. The more you will be dedicated, the better you will be able to perform. According to me, the most essential thing is content i.e. The base idea of a video, on which topic your video will be based. Secondly, choose a Topic which relates the video to the real life. The Basic Trick I use to make a video popular is ‘following the Trend’. I make videos on the concepts that are in trend. People love to watch the latest thing that is happening around and if you put your creativity in representing the latest trend, nothing can stop the video to reach it to more and more people. So all these things come secondary, everything depends upon your dedication. Love the work you are doing then you will never feel bored or have the workload, rather you’ll enjoy your time.
3. What is your message for the upcoming vine/video maker. What are the tips that you would want to share with them?
I have come across many new viners/video maker in the recent time as nowadays it has become a trend to make vines. Making vines is not as easy as it looks like. There are a lot of things that matter to bring out a good video. If you are dedicated to making videos then I would like to share some tips:
(1)Don’t copy the ideas or make videos on the ideas that are already made, people will not be interested in watching the repeated content.
(2)Create your own concept.
(3)Do not copy other viner’s style/ way of talking as it will not give you uniqueness. Show your own style.
(4)Follow the trend as I said earlier, to get your video noticed more.
(5)Keep on posting videos on regular basis to make your audience.
(6)Know your audience’s taste. Means analyze that what kind of videos are getting more response as compared to other videos.
Last but not the least I want to say that it is very difficult at the start and to set up your public but be patient and keep on doing hard work, you’ll get success.
4. Video making is not a parents cup of tea. How did your parents react to your decision to be a vlogger?
This is totally agreed that most of the parents in India are not supportive to video making and similar are my parents. Unfortunately, my parents do not support me in all these things as they believe that there is no future or an uncertain future in this. They always tell me to focus on studies and to give less time for making videos. Being opposite, I make videos on regular basis just because of all you people as you give me a lot of love. But as the time passed and many people started loving my videos, my parent’s views also changed. Earlier my friends, relatives also used to make fun of me. But now everyone supports. It is truly said that you will be alone in your harder times but there will be everyone with you when you succeed. Now my mother supports me and allows me to spare some time for making videos. But, my father is still against all this and yes I am taking this as a challenge that one day my father will also be proud of me.
5. There are various hilarious story that we come across time to time on your page. Does it require a lot of effort to pen down the humor?
To make the audience laugh by a minute video is not as easy, as it looks. There is a lot of effort that is put into a single video to present it in front of all the people. Making a video includes a few steps:
(1) Think of a concept on which you want to make a video.
(2) Write down the final idea and make a script and choose the persons that will play their role in the video.
(3) When the shoot is completed, the final step comes EDITING. This is the most important of all the steps.
(4) Put suitable Sound Effects to the video, add Songs where relevant and try to increase the quality of sound. The more your conversation in the video will be audible, the more effect it will give to the viewer.
(5) Once the video is ready, POSTING TIME matter a lot. Choose a time when most of the public is active so that you could get a good response.
All these factors are there behind making a video and sometimes when I don’t get a good response obviously I get disappointed BUT not by the response, by MYSELF. I think that there must be some points in the video that are lacking and I try to figure them out and not to do the similar mistake next time.
6. Who inspired you to make such a tremendous Facebook Channel?
When I started making vines, there were fewer people who were involved in making videos and one of them was Ashish Chanchalani. I started following him on Instagram when his followers were just 4300 and then with in 2 years I saw him raising till 1.2+ Million followers and I feel amazing after watching his videos as he has the craziest and Unique videos. I started making vines after getting inspired from him and I feel lucky that I am in touch with him. It was 25th March 2017 when I got a chance to meet my inspiration, Ashish Chanchalani and he especially spares his time to meet me. That feeling is unexplainable. Besides him, there are 2 more people who are my inspiration, Harsh Beniwal, and Tathagata. They both are equally best and I love to watch their videos. I have also met both of them and they have awful nature. I want all three of them to reach the TOP and get all their dreams fulfilled.
7. Who has been most supportive in your journey?
I never leave any opportunity where I get a chance to tell about my supporters. Not many but there are few who have been so supportive to me in my whole journey. My INDIAN VINERS family come to top list in supporting me. I have learned a lot from them and we all have been very good friends to each other. We share each and every achievement with everyone and also take/give reviews about the videos. Moreover, the best thing is that we get to know about our flaws. Experienced Viners like Ashish, Harsh, Sapan and Tathaagat let us know about the area in which we need improvement. Moreover, I have met most of the Indian Viners and I must say they all are amazing in real life. Secondly, My Cousin Vishesh, Rishabh and Saurabh have been always there for me whenever I need help. They supported me at the time no one was standing by my side. More importantly, I want to tell about some of my Followers that followed me in the beginning and never left my side. They supported me in my whole journey with giving beautiful comments and messages which motivated me alot. I am still in touch with them. I want to Thank everyone for being so supportive, it really means alot to me and you all will always remain special for me.
