In conversation with Niharicka Singh :

1) Niharicka, what are your goals when it comes to YouTube ?

YouTube is an Independent platform for people to showcase their own talent and creativity. Handsome number of subscribers is every Youtuber’s wish, which I have already achieved. I want to set an example for others with my Youtube videos now.

2) Who is the inspiration behind your Youtube Channel?

My friends used to enjoy my Dubsmash videos which I made out of pure fun. They used to encourage me to put my videos on Youtube and start my own Youtube Channel. I listened to their advice and then started my own channel and now I am trying to entertain people with my weird sense of humor. I hope people are liking my work there and I am always open to suggestions from my followers and fans.

3) What according to you is the best thing about YouTube ?

One of the best thing is that you receive huge appreciation from people who like your work. Your fans make you feel like a celebrity with their kind comments on your videos. This in turn makes you do better work and also gives you the courage to experiment with new ideas and make different videos every time.

4) What were the challenges that you faced initially and how did you overcome them?

The beginning is always the hardest and I struggled like anything for the first one year of my Youtube journey. It was very difficult to get those first 500 subscribers and technical difficulties were also a big issue for me. But I never gave up and decided to face all the challenges upfront, as I am somebody who believes in the power of her dreams and I wanted to be a successful Youtuber no matter what.

5) If you could collaborate with anyone right now, who would it be and why?

Sunil Grover, because I’ve been admiring his work since forever. I love the way he gets into the skin of the characters he plays. He is an amazing artist and he is so humble and down to earth too. His work on Comedy Nights with Kapil is extraordinary and brilliant. I want to learn so much from him.

6)  Describe your best experience while working for Radio City?

The Live Music Show, Musical-E-Azaam can be termed as one of my best experiences there. We had amazing singers from the industry for all the five days, the show was live. The talent we got there was one of it’s kind and I was amazed to see such great singers.

7) Any tips or advice for others who are just starting a YouTube channel ?

Be really sure of your content, you can’t repeat your own content. You have to come up with something new and something that reflects your personality in your videos every single time. And have lots of patience and don’t try to copy work of other Youtubers. Work your way up with your own style and hard work.
