Fashion is what you adopt wile maintaining your true identity. Beauty begins the moment you become yourself. Fashion is in the sky, in the streets, within yourself and the way one lives. Fashion is an art and a fashionista is the canvas. It is about dreaming and making other people dream. Fashion is like eating, you shouldn’t stick with the same menu. Fashion is being fabulous and classy. Are you crazy about style, beauty and latest trends? Deemanth Deemu, is the right fashionista and the perfect model to follow then. He creates his own style which is unique yet identifiable. Let’s have a sneak peek into his story where Mr. South India and Mr. Karnataka, Deemanth, gets candid with us.
In conversation with Deemanth:
1) Hey! Deemanth, it’s wonderful talking to you, can we know more about you ?
Hi, I am Deemanth R, a 22-year old model studying Masters of Computer Applications in Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore. I am very passionate about the fashion and modelling world and I am slowly and steadily trying to make my own mark in this industry.
2) How did you start off with modelling?
It all started when I was in class 12th. It’s been 5 years since now. I struggled a lot to know about the fashion industry, getting groomed, learning about the changing fashion trends and developing dedication, patience and interest towards modelling.
3) Tell us about the various titles you’ve won.
I won Mr. Karnataka 2017 and Mr. South India 2017 organized by Reliance Jewels. I had to undergo various talent round competitions where I showcased my Taekwondo martial art form (I am a black belt holder). We also had question and answer round to test our knowledge and communication skills. I aced all of them and won the above titles.
4) Tell us about other pageants and competitions you’ve won.
Apart from the Mr. Karnataka and Mr. South India titles I’ve won the title of Mr. Best Body Male 2017 and Mr. Popular Face Male 2017 in Mr. India 2017 competition. We had various rounds like swim suit and athletic rounds there. It was a tough competition and I am happy to have bagged such prestigious titles.
5) What is your style mantra?
Style is a way to tell who you are without having to speak. Your style describes your attitude. Dress up according to your self satisfaction and have your own sense of style. I wish to be a celebrity model and bring up new trends in fashion. I believe that joy of dressing is an art.

6) What is fashion according to you ?
Beauty comes when fashion succeeds. Trendy is the last stage before becoming tacky. Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life. Fashion is important. It is life enhancing, like everything that gives pleasure, it is doing worth while stuff to the best of your capibilities.
7) What advice would you like to give to aspiring models?
Don’t change to fit the ongoing fashion trends and industry, but fashion should fit in your everyday life. Follow the tag line Passion for Fashion. In this world full of trends arising every now and then be a classy fashionista and dress up to satisfy your self esteem. Dress how you want to be addressed. Fashion has to reflect who you are, what you feel at the moment and where you’re going!
