Mount Carmel College, Bangalore is an autonomous body governed by carmelite sisters of St. Teresa (CSST). Affiliated to Bangalore University, MCC is ranked among the top twenty colleges in India. The college offers courses in the field of Humanities, Commerce and Sciences. Mount Carmel College (MCC), Bangalore offers 34 programs at under graduate level, 18 at post graduate level and 2 vocational courses along with Doctoral programs.
Eligibility criteria for admissions in Mount Carmel College, Bangalore
Candidate seeking admission to any of the Courses Offered by Mount Carmel College can obtain the prospectus and application form available at the official college website upon payment of Rs 400/- for Under graduate courses and Rs. 500/- for Post graduate courses. The college accepts only online mode of admission forms. Admission applications sent through any other mode is not accepted. Sale of application forms has commenced online for PG Programmes from March 25, 2017. Candidates can fill the application form for UG programmes starting from March 29, 2017.

- Admission to B.Com & BBM courses is done on the basis of merit.
- In case of BA, B.Sc and BCA programme, the walk-in interview will be conducted after the announcement of Results (For BCA, maths background is Compulsory at the PUC / +2 /equivalent course)
- Admission to all the PG courses is based on merit.
Students have to study the language (Second language) studied at the last qualifying examination. This college also ensures decent jobs to the students on the basis of there performances in many well known companies like Amazon, IBM, Infosys and many more. The application procedure for admission to these courses is online. Students who are interested in any of the courses are required to fill up an application form which is available at university website. Candidates are shortlisted to UG programmes strictly on the basis of merit.

For the academic year 2017-2018 application forms are available online for PG and UG programmes. Only online submission of the applications will be accepted.
- Fees for application must be submitted only through online payment gateway.
- Application fees for the UG programmes is Rs 400 and PG Programmes is Rs 500.
- A soft copy of the applicant’s recent passport size photo and signature must be uploaded along with the application (Less than 100 KB)
