Today in the house of Student Stories we have a very young and vibrant soul Miss. Khushi Mukherjee who was born on 24 November 1996 in Kolkata, India. She is an Indian model who is popular for her amazing work as a model and can be recently seen as a contestant of the TV Show MTV SplitsVilla 10 (2017) hosted by Sunny Leone and Ranvijay Singh. She has also acted in a Kannada Movie in 2017 and one TV Serial in year 2015. Khushi completed her schooling from St. Lawrence High School and graduated from Thakur College of Science & Commerce, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Khushi Mukherjee is fan of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. In conversation with Khusi Mukherjee :
1.) Khushi, how did you came in to the modeling industry? And what is your ultimate goal in life?
I have always wanted to be an actress since I was 3 years old. When I told the same to my classmates they laughed at me as I was a very studious child but I always kept myself updated with all the latest fashion magazines and latest trends. I don’t believe in competing but of course, I do set targets for myself and I also believe in destiny. I never know where will it take me but my dream is to work with the King Khan himself.
2.) What according to you is your best feature that makes you different from the others?
I don’t believe in external beauty although people often say that my eyes are very expressive. I would say my confidence, my positive attitude and being humble and gentle towards everyone would be the best feature that makes me different from others.
3.) Khushi, which was your Debut Movie? Share your experience regarding it.
My debut movie was a Telugu movie named Heart Attach which was directed by ace Director Puri Jagannadh. I had no clue that I was going to be a part of such a successful movie and it was all luck by chance. My experience in the movie was completely amazing and I feel very blessed to have worked with such big personalities.
4.) Reality Shows are always tough. What strategies you had in your mind during SplitsVilla10?
People usually do reality shows and then serials or movies. My case is entirely opposite. I had no clue what reality shows were all about . All I thought was that it is called reality as they want to see the real you but it is actually not. I never had any strategy, I was just trying to be my own self. But I believe people want entertainment so I decided to quit the show.
5.) You like to stay Fit and in proper shape. What is your daily fitness routine?
I am a pure foodie. I just love food. But I belong to a field where we need to maintain ourselves. I don’t believe in zero size, staying healthy and in shape is my soul aim. I do weight training which includes squats, lunges etc. As I am quite moody at times so I dance or swim at times. They help to loose calories as well, so that’s a bonus.

6.) SplitsVilla 10 is all about an ideal match. Which qualities you want in your ideal match?
I believe falling in love cannot be planned and when you are in love you even start loving their flaws and imperfections. But if I have to list a few qualities that I want in my ideal match it would be a man who respects women and he should be caring, loving, pampering, understanding, truthful and if good looking then its the cherry on the cake.
7.) How did you start believing in your own work and talent ?
I would like to convey only one thing to my fans and followers is that I never let anyone distract/divert me from my goal. Nobody ever believed that I could act. People made fun of me when i said that I want to be an actress and advised me to choose something which is so called more professional as per their own perspective and choice. But I never gave up on my dreams. Even when I failed I stood up back again with double strength and confidence. Be a fighter. If you don’t fight for what you want then don’t cry for what you have lost.
8.) What message you would like to share with your fans who are looking forward to do big in life?
“I always believed nothing is impossible. I am a very stubborn person. I want what I want, I can’t compromise with my aspirations. Even when the road gets tough, I don’t give up. People gave me examples that daily millions of girls try their luck in the industry but not everyone becomes Priyanka Chopra or Aishwarya Rai. Today they wouldn’t have been them if they thought in the same manner. I believe hard work beats talent”.
