MTV Splisvilla, the reality show that gives a platform to young boys and girls striving to acquire a place in the reality show and also gives them added publicity. There are a lot of conflicts, resentment, hatred, attachment, backstabbing, and of course, love when all these contestants get together. While the show is essentially famous because of all the emotions, diverse participants from all over the country yearning to be a part of this show. One such ex-contestant is Priyanka Bora, a small town girl belonging to a simple, middle-class family, who succeeded to guard a position in the game for various events. She is currently now a Cabin Crew Member of an airlines and is an active name in the glamour industry as well. She has also participated in some modelling shows such as Miss Puberun, Miss North-East and many other shows. It was excellent contacting her as well and cover her story.
In conversation with the beautiful soul- Priyanka Bora :
Priyanka it is great having you here. Tell us something about your life. What do you do when you’re not working? Do you have any hobbies?
It feels great to be here as well and be a part of this interview. I was born on 1st February 1994 and I am Cabin Crew member of an airlines by profession and I am basically from Guwahati (Assam). I have completed my early education from Kendriya Vidhalaya Panbari Dhubri Assam. I am trained in classical music and I am also a professional dancer. I love to read novels whenever I get time. Besides that, I also practice singing and especially love to watch movies on Netflix.
Which celebrities do you consider the most influential? What motivated you to be a part of MTV Splitsvilla?
I absolutely adore Priyanka Chopra. I am also highly motivated by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. MTV Splitsvilla proved to be a big platform for me and I am glad that I started my career with it. I am obliged that I received the chance of being part of such a wondrous show. The show in itself motivated me enough to become it’s part.
Tell us about your journey so far. Did you ever had any downfalls?
The journey has been a roller coaster ride. I had never thought my life would turn out to be this amazing. I am really grateful for what I have. I have definitely experienced many downfalls. But they did play an important roll in my life. From these downfalls, I have learned a lot about life.

How has the Splitsvilla game transformed you as a person?
It feels amazing to be having such a huge fan base but at the same time, I feel more responsible as a person towards the society. I aspire to uplift every being that I can. I love being associated with various social welfare programs and always believe in doing my bit. I believe life has been very good to me and I insist on doing the same for others.
What advice would you like to give to aspiring youngsters in this field?
In any field, I believe consistency is important. No matter how unusual or tough your goal is, never let anybody pull you down. Never give up on your dreams. I have always believed in moving ahead and never giving up on my dreams ,no matter how hard the road gets and i hope every youngster who wants to make a mark in this world experiences the same strength and vigor.
