In conversation with Faisal :
1.At what age did you realize your love for Dancing?
My mom says that I started dancing when I could not even walk properly but as far as I remember, I am dancing since I was in School, I used to take part in annual day functions and I got my proper dance training in Bappa Excel by Shrikant Sir.
2.What inspires you to dance? what should the viewer take away, interpret with the message that you want to convey?
It’s very difficult to pinpoint one thing that inspires me, music and nature are two things that I can think of right now. The only message I want to give to my viewers is : always listen to your heart and always dream big and believe you can achieve anything.
3. What all things you learnt from your first Dance show (Dance India Dance Li’l Masters 2)?
Dance India Dance holds a very important place in my heart and my first platform where I performed and connected to my viewers. During DID I learned a lot of different forms of dance and all technical stuff going behind the camera.
DID was a great learning experience for me.
4. Who is your Dancing Guru?
I don’t have any particular guru as I have learnt from a lot of different dance Gurus, so naming one person will be unfair, but few of them are Shrikant Sir, Remo Sir, Prince Sir.
5. Although you have done various dance shows, Which one do you think has transformed your life tremendously?
I am fortunate that I got a chance to perform on various platforms and have learnt something new every time, but the show that has influenced my life the most is DID as that was the first experience to perform in front of a huge crowd and win their hearts.
6.Which is your favorite Dance Style?
Again, to choose one form is not fair, as I enjoy all dance forms, it all depends on my mood and the music at that time that makes me wanna move to the beat. But if still I am asked to choose, I’ll prefer Hip hop and Freestyle.
7.What made you to steer your career in the field of Acting? While doing the TV show “Bharat ka Veerpur Maharana Pratap”, which was the biggest challenge you faced?
I was told a lot of times that my face is very expressive but working in a TV serial was something I never even thought about. I am always eager to learn new things in life and experiment. So, when I got an opportunity to perform in BKVPMP, I was all excited to learn something new.
The biggest challenge that I had to face was wearing all those heavy costumes, I know that sounds funny but trust me horse riding, sword fighting, learning the dialogues, shooting for long hours; all were doable and fun, but wearing heavy costumes in the heat was the biggest challenge.

8.Tell us some of your achievements in the field of Acting and dancing both.
I am fortunate to work in both acting and dancing fields. Both are completely different yet interconnected sometimes. If I talk about achievements, I have a lot of trophies (Mashallah) but I consider my biggest achievement is to be able to get the love and blessings of all my lovers, It’s because of their unconditional love that I am at this stage now and will be always grateful for that.
