Admission process for 2017 started at School of Open Learning (SOL), Delhi University
After postponement over weeks, University Of Delhi finally initiated their School of Open Learning (SOL) admission process by opening the link to registrations to its undergraduate courses on June 1, 2017.
SOL is a pioneer institution in the field of distance education in India. Last year, almost 49,000 students had applied for SOL by July 21, 2016. There is no doubt that this type has seen a steady rise in the number of students aiming for it. Established in 1962, it is also known as The School Of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education.
Following is the process for registering oneself to seek admission in SOL:
Step 1 – Registration
Go to the link: https://sol.du.ac.in/admission/LoginRegistration.aspx
In the form, fill in your email address and mobile number after which you will be provided with a password.
Step 2– Login
Go to the link https://sol.du.ac.in/admission/ and login with provided username and password.
Step 3– Details (Course)
Type in the course details and click “Save”. Proceed to “Next” button and if you are a CBSE/NOS/ICSE student, fill in your year of passing and examination roll number and proceed.
Step 4– Personal Details
Fill in your relevant details. Click “Save” and proceed by “Next” button.
Step 5– Subject Details
Fill in the subject details from the drop down list. Then “Save” and proceed to “Next”.
Step 6– Upload the Documents
Scan your documents and upload all the concerned documents. Then “Save” and proceed to “Next”.
Step 7– Enrollment and Verification
Please verify all the details before proceeding to the payment portal. Kindly ensure the absence of minor mistakes. Read the declaration form and tick the “Check Box”. Click “Verify” after verification is done.
Step 8– Payment Method
Select whatever payment method suits you.
Step 9– After the payment is done, you will get an application number and a fee receipt number. Click on “Print Fee Receipt” to view and download the receipt.
