Like every year Delhi University, this year too remained in a fuss during its admission process. The delay in the admission process, register process, cutoffs are few to be counted among many.
Reason behind the postpone of registration in Delhi University
The University have blamed the reason for the delay on the faulty software put in place by the university for the entire process. The postponement of the registration process is pulling a large number of students to the university information center (UIC) even after the counseling session is closed.
Confusion at Delhi University regarding admission
It is a state of confusion as well problems for me. There is clarity even at the UIC, which do not have any information as to when the process will start, the volunteers are themselves confused. Many other universities have completed with their entrance exams.
Delhi University entrance based exams
Earlier DU had decided to hold the online entrance test for admission, but with opposition from DUSU, they decided to hold offline entrance. It is not only this, the university has not notified registration date for entrance based undergraduate programme. The last date for registration is June 20.
Change in Delhi University Cut-offs 2017 dates
The cut off will now be released on June 23. The declaration of first cut off will be done on June 23 in the evening. The admission process to colleges of Delhi University will start from the subsequent day. The University of Delhi will be announcing the cut off for all merit-based courses. Delhi University is yet to announce the schedule for entrance based on under graduate courses. The application process for DU Admissions 2017 for various merit-based courses commenced on June 12.
