Admissions to MBBS and BDS programme in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will be done on the basis of NEET 2017 scores. Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh will not conduct a separate entrance exam. Therefore, admissions to approximately 150 MBBS and 40 BDS seats will be done as per candidate’s scores in NEET 2017. Further, counselling for MBBS BDS programmes will be done by the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh itself. Aligarh Muslim University MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2017

The counselling conducting authority, Aligarh Muslim University has declared a separate eligibility criteria of AMU MBBS BDS 2017:

Candidate must have completed 17 years of age as or on December 31, 2017
Candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually in Class XII. Further, candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in all subjects
Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in Class XII, while, it is 45% marks for OBC category candidates.

Aligarh Muslim University MBBS Selection Procedure 2017

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will shortlist candidates appeared in NEET 2017 for MBBS and BDS programmes in AMU. Only those candidates will be eligible for AMU MBBS BDS 2017 admission, who will secure a requisite percentile score in NEET 2017. Candidates belonging to general categories have to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET 2017. Further, those belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) have to score at least 40 percentile in NEET 2017.

Aligarh Muslim University MBBS Merit List 2017

The merit list of AMU MBBS BDS admission 2017 will be released in the month of June, 2017. Refer below for highlights:

The merit list of AMU MBBS BDS 2017 will be based on candidate’s score in NEET 2017
Admissions to MBBS and BDS programmes will be done solely on the basis of merit list of AMU MBBS BDS 2017
The merit list of AMU MBBS BDS 2017 will consist of candidate’s name, category and percentile in NEET 2017
No individual communication regarding AMU MBBS BDS 2017 merit list will be made to aspirants

Aligarh Muslim University MBBS Counselling 2017

The counselling of AMU MBBS BDS 2017 will be held in the month of June, 2017. The allocation of AMU MBBS BDS 2017 seats will be done through the offline counselling, held at AMU, Aligarh Campus. At the time of AMU MBBS BDS 2017 counselling, candidates will have to bring all the original documents for verification purpose. Candidates, who will qualify as per the merit list released by the exam conducting authority AMU, have to attend the offline counselling of AMU MBBS BDS 2017.
