Process To Link Aadhaar card with mobile number:

The first method to link aadhaar card with mobile number is given here. Visit your nearest store of the network provider of your respective sim. For ex: If you are an Airtel customer, visit the nearest Airtel store. Provide your Aadhaar card number and your phone number to the store keeper. For the next level of verification a four digit verification code (OTP) is sent on your mobile number. This OTP/Verification code has to be provided to the store keeper. To link Aadhaar card, you will also need to provide your fingerprint for the biometric verification. A confirmation message will be sent your mobile number which has been linked to Aadhar for final confirmation. You have to reply with a ‘Y’ and the verification process gets completed. Now, the SIM card has been successfully linked with the Aadhaar card.

The IVR with the telecom service provider can play the ‘consent message’ and ask the customer to provide their mobile numbers. The OTP to be verified has to be shared with IVR. UIDAI will fetch all the details of the subscriber’s e-KYC. The successful ‘mobile re-verification’ message will appear on IVR. You will also get a SMS notification to confirm that the process is complete now.
