“We are all born with a divine fire in us. Our efforts should be to give wings to this fire and fill the world with glow of it goodness.”
A True Leader who trusted everyone of us and inspired to put our efforts, in making India a developed and a great nation. – Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam
When he built missile on his own, people asked him “How without foreign help?” “I am indigenious!” he replied. I don’t know the credibility of the source of this statement, but I am sure he was.
Perhaps one of the few people whose demise actually made people sad. Born in Rameshwaram in odd financial conditions, Kalam loved reading and studying. Serving in many odd jobs, he never gave up. Least politically motivated, he came to be known as People’s President.
As a teacher, he used to say “If we only impart knowledge and not teach values then we are only training the mind and not the heart.” “Dream is not that you see in sleep, dream is something that does not let you sleep,” many people near him or having worked with him, recall it.
He grew up in India. And India grew up with him. Varying from ISRO, DRDO to the president of India his contribution is so varied and immaculate that it is difficult for me to imagine how can all these be one people? Make missiles. Make India go nuclear. Contribute to space cooperation bringing India at International Level. Give India its vision. Starting from nothing. Earns a lot of respect!!
India’s 20-20 vision is one of the things we should look forward to accomplish diligently. One of the best scientists, an exemplary administrator in one person is simply awe-ful.
Dr. Kalam inspires and will keep inspiring this whole generation being a political leader, and the president. I don’t recall many people like him.
Startings were rough,
followings were tough,
and I know only one thing,
trodding won’t be easy.
I’ll keep moving forward.
“I have dreamed
and they will come true.”
He will always be there, alive in our heart and with us forever through his teaching. I believe that our young generation will work hard to complete his vision of Developed India.
